Sheet Metal is a four-part training curriculum developing skilled, credentialed sheet metal technicians. The training is designed to prepare you for a wide range of careers. Level 1 introduces the sheet metal occupation and its tools and equipment. You’ll examine the basics of plasma arc cutting, math and measurement, layout and forming, and ductwork and HVAC installation.

The 4th Edition series is based on current technology and NCCER’s proven instructional system. It includes updated modules from NCCER’s Welding, HVAC and Mechanical Insulating curricula. An entire module on job specifications was added, along with key enhancements to its training in construction drawings. All figures and tables were significantly updated to reflect modern tools and practices.
