    How long does it take to get a general contractor license in Florida?

    Applications for a Florida contractor license are generally evaluated and approved within 30 to 45 days.

     

    How many questions are on the Florida General Contractors exam?

    The Florida General Construction contract administration test consists of 3 exams.  

    125 questions on the Business and Finance, 65 for Contract Administration, and 65 for Project Management. (There are 5 pilot questions on each exam that do not count for you or against you)

    How much does it cost to get a GC license in Florida?

    Complete the license application form and pay the application cost. After passing the general contractor examination, you may submit an application for the license. Additionally, you must pay a licensing application cost of $150-$250 USD.
